Free Mindfulness Course For Freelancers

Written by Dinghy

We are delighted to have partnered with Andy, Wellbeing Capital Partner‘s mindfulness guru to give you a free 21 day mindfulness course. Andy provides mindfulness coaching to big companies such as PwC, Lloyds Bank and J.P. Morgan, as well as charities and schools.

He has created a bespoke 21 day mindfulness course designed for freelancers; with easy to understand hints and tips, and videos. It is a great way to start your mindfulness journey, give yourself the space you need in a hectic day to look after yourself, and form good habits that can set you up for life. It is open to anyone and everyone (and it’s even better to do it with a friend) so feel free to share and allow others to enjoy too.

Simply provide your email below and we will send you an email everyday for 21 days to guide you through the course.

Course goals

By the end of the 21 days, the aim is for you to be meditating for 10 minutes every day, and for that to be helping you to:

  • Be more focused, so that you get your work done faster and get paid sooner.
  • Feel calmer, so that stress and anxiety don’t hold you back.
  • Be more creative, so that you can offer higher quality products and services.

Habit Forming

This course will teach you a method for habit-forming that you can apply to anything you might want to take up in the future: playing music, language learning, fitness or anything else

One evidence-based approach to habit-forming, developed by Stanford psychologist BJ Fogg is to make the habit start really small. For example, if you want to start flossing, make your habit flossing just one tooth!

That’s why in this course, for the first week you will be given short 1-2 minute tasks that don’t even involve meditation; and the first recording is only 1 minute long.

Getting support

Each day you will receive an inspirational quote, a tip and a task to complete. Here is your first quote:

‘You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret to success is found in your daily routine.’

John C. Maxwell

Get your friends involved

One of the most effective approaches to achieving any goal is accountability. It is crucial to have someone else reminding you, encouraging you and asking what went wrong when you fall off the wagon.

One study showed that people were twice as likely to achieve a goal if they checked in with a friend about their progress once a week.

So invite some friends to do this challenge with you. Not only will it help you, but it will also help them too, so a win-win situation!
