But what if things go wrong as they sometimes do? You may, for example, have failed to check a candidate’s references or made a mistake in the job advert. There is also a risk that a candidate could injure themselves when visiting your premises or during any interview with you. For this you will need Public Liability insurance. What is a freelance recruitment consultant?
Freelance recruiters, or recruitment consultants essentially take on the task of vetting potential candidates for a role on behalf of their client. They take on the burden of a time consuming process to meet the needs of their client. Freelance recruitment consultants will need to be able to identify qualities, traits and the work experience necessary to successfully fulfil a role or project. As well as make a judgment on a candidate’s suitability for the culture of the company, and the personality traits that will be best suited to the existing team or client. Freelance recruiters can take on the full end to end responsibility of a hire, or just part of the process. Either way, they will need to work closely with the client in order to understand their requirements, and to find someone who is the right fit.
